Language Policy

Our school uses English as the medium of instruction and the language of inclusion for all EMI subjects with the aim to ensure our Primary school students are at least bilingual in Chinese and English from an early age. The medium of instruction through Native English Teachers enables students to be fully immersed in English while at the same time being taught Putonghua every day by specialist Chinese teachers in Chinese lessons and Chinese guided reading.

Being fully immersed in English, Putonghua and traditional characters in Chinese lessons and the fact the use of Cantonese and Putonghua prevails in almost every aspect of our lives in Hong Kong, we can provide a language environment whereby students can excel in several languages and develop the skills to thrive in Hong Kong and Internationally.
