Founded on the excellent foundation from our Kindergartens, we offer a 6-year holistic, well-balanced curriculum, featuring the strengths of the international and local curricula to maintain excellent standards and nurture students’ curiosity, initiative, engagement, persistence and creativity. To prepare students for the demands of the 21st century and the ever-developing technological world, the school takes a modern day 4-literacy teaching approach with Language, STEAM and ICT as a key cross-curricula focus.
English Language Literacy
The course emphasises speaking and writing. We encourage students to read extensively, broaden their vocabulary and develop a strong understanding of grammar and linguistic conventions. With access to native English teachers and speakers and an English learning environment, our students are well-equipped to develop the confidence and communication skills needed to succeed in a globalised world.
Chinese Language Literacy
We provide diverse curricula to suit the needs of all students, including a regular local, a near-native and a foreign language curriculum. Our goal is to ensure all students develop excellent Chinese language skills for future success in Hong Kong and mainland China.
ICT & Computing Literacy
Our course teaches principles of computation, digital systems and programming. Students create content with a range of information technology, including coding, animation, video, and VR/AR. Our SAMR method and e-learning infrastructure reinforce ICT & Computing Literacy and boost creativity in and out of the classroom.
STEAM Literacy
At Anchors Academy, we integrate STEAM education into all subjects, providing students with the opportunity to learn through exploration and project-based learning. Our modern and well-resourced campus features a team of teachers who specialise in STEAM education, an innovation lab with VR and AR technologies, computer labs and high-tech classrooms.
